MCMINNVILLE, Ore. - A 44-year-old McMinnville man died of the H1N1 influenza flu virus on Wednesday, the first Yamhill County resident to die of this flu.

State officials say the man did have pre-existing conditions.

So far, 27 deaths have been attributed to H1N1 in Oregon.
